Guided by the school’s Long Range Plan and a subsequent campus planning process, Nashoba Brooks Trustees have identified the most critical needs for the school. The school’s purchase of the adjacent 9.5 acres from the Macone family in 2006 allowed for the thoughtful consideration of how the school would expand its campus. There are long-term goals for both endowment and capital projects within the scope of the Campaign. The Campaign has been structured in chapters and each chapter will be completed when the funds have been secured through philanthropic support.  Campaign goals are scheduled to be completed by September 2012 when we open and dedicate the new and renovated classroom spaces.

The objective is to add to the existing endowment to remove pressure from tuition and to support the largest operating budget items of faculty salaries and financial assistance. This is the initial step in moving Nashoba Brooks toward its final goal of having an endowment that is three times the size of the operating budget by 2025. An endowed fund has been established to honor Kay Cowan and is included in the endowment goal of the Campaign.

In 2009, the school completed a new regulation-size playing field and tennis courts with satellite bathrooms, reconfigured traffic flow, added additional parking, and built a new maintenance garage.

The next step is to improve the school’s ability to educate for excellence through expansion and renovation. In the Lower School, this includes expanding and reconfiguring the classroom spaces.  In the Middle School, this includes enlarging four of the smallest classrooms, updating HVAC, and replacing windows in the Coombs Building.
