As you may already know, Nashoba Brooks has undergone amazing physical changes over the past ten years. While serving the same number of students, the plant has more than doubled in size since 1995. This increased space allows us to better fulfill our mission of developing each child’s personal excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts. If you haven’t been on campus in a while, you might enjoy the on-line tour, or better yet, visit us and see, real-time, features such as the Dining Commons, the full-sized gym, and the state-of-the art Science Wing.  Like Doria Hughes (Dori Phelps-Braun ’88), all of our alums have a story to tell. Check out hers in the Spring-Summer 2008 Nashoba Brooks Bulletin. Doria says, “I spent my whole life trying to find the appropriate place to be silly, and storytelling provides that outlet. It’s a relief to me—fun and therapeutic. ‘Expressive’ may be a better word, expressive in an extroverted way, but I like the word ‘silly.’ This is something I was always secretly proud of. People would say, ‘You’re so silly, so weird,’ and I’d say, ‘Well, yeah.’ Things I did that my mother got calls about in elementary school, I get paid to do now.”
