The parent-school partnership is part of our history at Nashoba Brooks. Parents of Nashoba Brooks students play an active role in school life and contribute to the planning for the school’s future.
Education is a cooperative effort between family and the school, and Nashoba Brooks values the parent voice. Being a parent at Nashoba Brooks is a unique experience, described below by some of our current parents:
“Nashoba Brooks demonstrates being the best through their willingness to do better. They do this by respecting parents’ voices and offering a variety of avenues for parents to be involved in the school. My family has personally grown from SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity), a program devoted to broadening awareness regarding respect for humanity.” – Parent
“Parents are so involved, welcomed and down to earth – I think we’re as anxious to see ‘our friends’ as much or more than our daughters are their classmates each fall.” – Parent
“I feel I have grown, too, during my children’s years here. There are so many opportunities to learn about parenting and to connect with others around parenting issues. There are plenty of events and functions to bring us together, which some parents participate in and some don’t—a lot of us are working with busy lives, but still, we connect. We form strong bonds and friendships.” – Parent
