Questions & Curiosities

Danielle Heard
Where would we be without curiosity?
A good friend and cherished colleague, Megan Murphy, Global Executive Director of the International Coalition of Girls’ Schools, often pauses at key moments in a board meeting to inquire, Any questions or curiosities? The gift of the well-timed pause, the wisdom to offer time for reflection, and this simple prompt to inspire inquiry and curiosity have powerful impacts on collaborative engagement. So with great appreciation for Megan and her leadership, I borrow her phrase as the title for this blog. I promise to keep it brief—a simple sharing of something that sparked my curiosity with a question to consider together. After all, where would we be without curiosity?
