Gratitude for Teachers

One of my childhood heroes, Bill Russell, once said, “I've been fortunate to meet and work with a lot of really smart people. The thing that strikes me most about them is how they continue to explore and learn every day.” I could not have known then just how much Bill Russell would continue to inspire me throughout my career, but as we honor his passing and celebrate his life this year, I am inspired by his work and his wisdom. I know how fortunate I am to work in a place where I am guaranteed to be inspired every day by the students and employees with whom I work. Our teachers are dedicated to advancing not just their individual classes, or the interdisciplinary curriculum, but also our collective understanding of learning, leading, and growth. I am grateful every day for the outstanding teachers who inspired me as a child, and for the gift of being steeped in inspired education at Nashoba Brooks.
