Cradles to Crayons: Collect and Sort Success

Nashoba Brooks School Middle School students participated in the annual Cradles to Crayons collect and sort at Nashoba Brooks School on Sunday, October 28.
The event, organized and promoted by our Grade 5 students, as part of their service work with Cradles to Crayons, was a success—and will provide much-needed items to more than 450 children in the Boston area.

The School is grateful for the outpouring of donations from the greater Concord area as well as the Nashoba Brooks School community. Volunteers from Concord and surrounding towns, including our Nashoba Brooks fifth graders, crafted well wish cards and sorted donations as part of the event.

Kelsey Soto, the event organizer, visited the fifth graders in October, teaching them about Cradles to Crayons and the impact that Nashoba Brooks can have on local children. This winter, Grade 5 will go to the Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory to lend another helping hand!
