Gradyisms

What are you grateful for today?
I am blessed to call John Grady a friend and mentor. Like many others, I have benefited greatly from his care, humor, and wisdom for years. In fact, I frequently draw on his “Gradyisms” as material for my most important remarks. His signature reminder that “gratitude unexpressed isn’t gratitude at all,” has become a cherished daily reminder that grounds me in the things that matter most. Though I have much to be grateful for every day, today, I am struck with sincere gratitude for inspiring children, dedicated parent partners, and the truly exceptional employees at Nashoba Brooks School. To work in an environment where everyone is invested in each other, where continuous learning is both a commitment and a cherished opportunity for all, and where joy is palpable every day is a gift beyond measure. I am grateful every day to be part of this learning community and culture. What are you grateful for today?
