Nashoba Brooks’ Grade 3 Graduates on June 7

The first of this year’s graduations was joyfully celebrated this morning when teachers, administrators, parents, relatives, and friends gathered to honor the 27 members of Nashoba Brooks School’s third grade.
Head of School Danielle Heard addressed the assembled guests and read one of her all-time favorite books, Wilfred Gordon McDonald Partridge by Mem Fox. The book tells the story of a young boy who visits the residents at an old people’s home. The theme of the book is the importance of memories and the different meanings that memories have. She encouraged the graduates to celebrate and preserve their memories of their time at Nashoba Brooks and to always stay connected to their NBS friends and the school.

Of the 27 students, 14 boys will be moving on to other schools next year, including Fay, Fenn, and a local public school. The girls will be returning in the fall to join our all-girls’ Middle School.
