A State of the School Evening at Nashoba Brooks

Members of the community gathered in Achtmeyer Gallery on Thursday, January 19, to hear a presentation about Nashoba Brooks’ past, present, and future.
The panelists included Moderator John McClellan P'13, Chair of the Board of Visitors; Alex Berlin TG'92; Danielle Heard, Head of School; Lizzie Moore '98; Jason Robart P'09, President of the Board of Trustees; and Sheila Sohn P'20, PTG'13. The group reflected on changes that the School has embraced over the past few years, how Nashoba Brooks is evolving while staying true to its core and mission, how parents continue to play an important part in the life of the School, and how teachers at all stages of their careers support each other in their work.

Alums Alex Berlin and Lizzie Moore both shared perspectives on the important role that Nashoba Brooks and its teachers played in their lives and what they’ve observed as recent visitors to the School.

In addition to the information presented through the panel discussion, members of the audience asked thoughtful questions about the School’s program and finances.
