Wonderful Learning During Book Week 2017

Although a snow day cut Book Week short, the week was a wonderful success.
Students and teachers enjoyed daily D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read), and a Book Fair with a wonderful selections for young and old on Wednesday and Thursday. Students heard presentations from visiting authors, Josh Funk and Madeline Valentine on Wednesday, and Caldecott Medal-winning illustrator, Sophie Blackall on Thursday.

Friday's “Dress Like Your Favorite Book Character” day brought out whimsy and creativity in students and adults. It was great fun for all!
