Spirit Takes Over The School!

Last week's Spirit Week activities delighted students and adults —
The week leading up to March Break is known as Spirit Week at Nashoba Brooks and is filled with fun. Monday was Pajama Day, and students and their teachers were appropriately attired. Tuesday was Neon Day and students in every grade participated in Jump Rope for Heart, a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. A highlight of the week, the annual Hobby Fair and Talent Show took place from 5:00 to 7:30 PM on Tuesday. Artists, musicians, comedians, dancers, and even a faculty band performed for the delighted audience that evening.

Wednesday was Favorite Sports Team Day, with students and teachers wearing their favorite team gear. Thursday was "Color Day" with students in each grade wearing a different color. And Friday was Spirit Day — everyone wore Nashoba Brooks colors and gear and students held a fabulous Spirit Rally before being dismissed for the break.

Lastly, a week-long, fiercely competitive Penny War pitted partner grades against each other to see who could collect the most pennies. At the end of the week, the monies collected were donated to the Greater Boston Food Bank. Congratulations to all of the grades for participating in this great tradition!
