Nashoba Brooks School Varsity Soccer Team Closes a Winning Season

The Nashoba Brooks School varsity soccer team closed out a successful season with a final record of  7 wins, 1 loss, and 3 tie games in their 11-game season.
Team captains, S. Burke and A. Monahan, led by coaches Andrés Méndez-Peñate andRachel Parker, guided this talented middle school team to their many victories.

Leadership was a key ingredient to this team's success. "All season, our players worked hard and played with incredible spirit and sportsmanship," said coach Méndez-Peñate. “What really stood out for me was their grit and determination. We had many nail biters where we came from behind to win or tie,” he added.

With their only loss of the season in their final game, the team is focusing on the future. "While they clearly wanted the undefeated title it was great to see their resilience,” assistant coach Parker said. ”Many are already thinking about what they will do on the team next year.”

Everyone looks forward to another strong season in 2019.
