Ellis Lecture

How might you listen differently to learn and grow more?
Nashoba Brooks hosts an annual lecture series started in 1988 in honor of Patricia Ellis. Pat served as head of Nashoba Brooks School from 1972-1992. Pat guided the School through the merger of Nashoba Country Day School and the Brooks School, and she was an early supporter of including our Chewonki partnership, interscholastic athletics, competitive employee compensation, and our commitment to DEIJ initiatives. A champion of educators, Pat would have been particularly proud that this year’s featured speaker was Liza Garonzik ‘03, Nashoba Brooks School trustee and founder of R.E.A.L. Discussion. Liza’s remarks focused on listening as a critical component of learning and leading. How might you listen differently to learn and grow more?
