Community

Nashoba Brooks School prepares its students for lives as engaged citizens and ethical leaders in their communities. We work to build and actively maintain an inclusive community in which all students and families experience a sense of belonging, engagement, and recognition. Our core values of collaboration, empathy, inclusivity, integrity, and resilience shape the experience of each member of our community on a daily basis. These are not simply words on a page: they stretch our thinking and they inspire our efforts to grow together, and to sustain a thriving, dynamic, and diverse community.

Character

We value the training of character as highly as the training of the mind and are dedicated to the development of character in all aspects of School life. We see respect for one’s self and for others, a sense of right and wrong, compassion and caring, responsibility as an individual and as a member of a community, and courage to stand up for one’s convictions as essential components of character development.

Confidence

We are committed to inspiring self-confidence, encouraging self-advocacy, and accenting the individual strengths of our students. Our students bring boundless curiosity and unlimited potential, and we help them to develop both the skills and the confidence to learn and lead in any environment. Through a variety of experiences and learning platforms—research and problem solving, coding and composition, collaboration and presentation, music and drama—our students develop their own voice and perspective and have numerous opportunities across the curriculum to develop and share their ideas with conviction.
Nashoba Brooks challenges my child to achieve their personal best by fostering a school culture that encourages risk-taking and trying something outside your comfort zone. Challenging yourself and being OK with making mistakes permeates the school culture.
