Green Team Gets Going!

We are excited to announce the Green Team's proposal to the Natural Resource Commission (NRC) of Concord was recently accepted! On Wednesday, January 28th, we presented the students proposal to restore and improve the retaining pond, a protected wetland, on our campus. Green Team has been working on this proposal since last winter, resulting in over 20 pages of writing and photos to support their cause. This spring, with the approval from the NRC, the Green Team will begin to remove invasive plant species and litter, plant water-loving native species, and work to mitigate the eroding embankment.

The Green Team is a middle school club established to investigate and report on areas of environmental sustainability improvements.
