Learning About Learning

How do goals and reflection impact your learning?
At Nashoba Brooks, we spend a lot of time thinking about how students learn and how to support them in learning to love to learn. With this in mind, I was intrigued to find Ulrich Boser’s 2018 piece from Harvard Business Review, Learning Is A Learned Behavior. Though the primary audience for this piece is likely aspiring business leaders, the concepts are much the same—goal setting, metacognition, and reflection make all the difference. If Mr. Boser is looking for a few first-hand perspective quotes for a future piece on learning, I am sure Nashoba Brooks students would be happy to share their thoughts. How do goals and reflection impact your learning?
