Please note that our Early Birds program is temporarily suspended due to the pandemic, but some clubs will meet before school.
Students may arrive at Nashoba Brooks as early as 7:30 a.m. each day. The time between 7:30 and 8:15 a.m. is known as Early Birds. During this time, students are supervised in both the Wallace Dining Commons and Moriarty Gymnasium. This coverage is free of charge. No students should arrive prior to 7:30 a.m. Students are able to enter their homerooms at 8:15 a.m.
In addition, there are several clubs and groups that meet before the start of school, including math clubs, science clubs, jazz ensemble, orchestra, yoga, and Youth in Philanthropy. Some involve a fee, but many don't.
Our fee-based after school offerings provide students with flexible options to try interesting activities and/or participate in supervised homework support.
Students in Preschool to Grade 3 may remain at the end of their school day until 5:30 p.m. as part of our Extended Day program. Extended Day offers students in Preschool through Grade 3, a supervised time to work on projects and play together indoors and outdoors.
After school activities include a variety of offerings such as Outdoor Adventure Program (Grades K-3), Intramural Softball/Lacrosse (Grades 4-5), Intro to Science Olympiad (Grades 2-5), Costume Design (Grades 5-6), Movie Making Club (Grades 2-5), 3-D Printing (Grades 2-6), and more.
Supervised Study is available to students in Grades 4 to 8 each day from the end of their last school commitment until 5:30 p.m. Held in the Denault Library, students have the opportunity to work on their homework under the supervision of our faculty.
