Before & After School

Before School

Students may arrive at Nashoba Brooks as early as 7:30 a.m. each day if pre-registered. The time between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. is known as Early Birds. During this time, students are supervised the Wallace Dining Commons. No students should arrive prior to 7:30 a.m. Students are able to enter their homerooms at 8:00 a.m.

In addition, there are several clubs and groups that meet before the start of school, including math clubs, science clubs, jazz ensemble, orchestra, yoga, and Youth in Philanthropy. Some involve a fee, but many don't. 

After School
 
Our fee-based after school offerings provide students with flexible options to try interesting activities and/or participate in supervised homework support.

Students in Preschool to Grade 3 may remain at the end of their school day until 5:30 p.m. as part of our Extended Day program. Extended Day offers students in Preschool through Grade 3, a supervised time to work on projects and play together indoors and outdoors. 

After school activities include a variety of offerings such as Outdoor Adventure Program (Grades K-3), Intramural Softball/Lacrosse (Grades 4-5), Intro to Science Olympiad (Grades 2-5), Costume Design (Grades 5-6), Movie Making Club (Grades 2-5), 3-D Printing (Grades 2-6), and more.
 
Supervised Study is available to students in Grades 4 to 8 each day from the end of their last school commitment until 5:30 p.m. Held in the Denault Library, students have the opportunity to work on their homework under the supervision of our faculty.

Situated on a beautiful 30-acre campus in historic Concord, Massachusetts, Nashoba Brooks School enrolls all genders in Preschool through Grade 3, and students identifying as girls in Grades 4 through 8. Nashoba Brooks is an independent school designed to build community, character, and confidence in its students.
